Beef ribs with meat are absolutely delicious in strong soup broths, giving them rich and strong taste and juiciness, it is also perfect for baking as meat is thereafter tender and juicy.
Mexican style baked ribs Ingredients 1.5kg beef ribs 80ml soy sauce Pinch of salt 1 teaspoon natural cane sugar 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce 70ml ketchup 6 cloves of garlic 1 small fresh ginger 1 pickled chipotle pepper 200ml beef broth Method Preheat an oven to 180°C. Separate ribs into individual bones covered with meat. Press garlic and grate ginger finely. Simmer broth with all the remaining ingredients, pressed garlic and grated ginger in a roasting pan for a while. Remove the pan from a hob, put ribs into mixture and mix in well. Bake covered for 2.5 hours, check occasionally and baste ribs with juice or pour a little bit of broth. Remove a lid and bake uncovered at 160°C for another 25 minutes. Serve beef ribs with sauce and fresh bread.
Slowly baked beef ribs in beer and honey sauce Ingredients 1.5 kg beef ribs Salt and pepper 2 tablespoons ground sweet pepper 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon ground hot pepper 8 cloves garlic 300ml dark beer 6 tablespoons honey 3 onions Beef broth for pouring Method Salt and pepper ribs well, add all remaining spices with pressed garlic and coat ribs in it thoroughly. Leave covered in a cold place overnight. Take out ribs from a fridge and leave for one hour at room temperature. Preheat an oven to 120°C. Put ribs in a roasting pan, pour a little bit of broth, cover the pan and bake slowly for 4 to 5 hours. Check occasionally, baste ribs with juice and pour more broth if necessary. Before the end, simmer beer with honey in a pan for 5 minutes. Then remove a lid from the roasting pan, add sliced onion, pour beer syrup, increase oven temperature to 180°C and bake uncovered for another 25 minutes. Remove ribs and place them aside to rest, put the roasting pan on a hot hob, pour 150ml of water and stir until fat is dissolved. Taste sauce, salt if needed. Serve ribs with sauce and bread or mashed potatoes.
